The BAPE Rise To Fame A Legend In The Making

You may not know the name in particular, but you have more than likely seen the BAPE line of clothing in popular culture. It is apparent that the clothing line has taken the hip hop and rap communities by storm- as we can see by music videos and popular movies debuting with characters dressed in BAPE. How BAPE Rose To Fame BAPE, short for "A Bathing Ape," is a Japanese company that specializes in new-age trends and sporty clothing. The company caters mainly to hip hop and rap personas, although it extends its reach to several stereotypes.

As luck would have it the founder of BAPE clothing, who goes by the name of Nigo, enjoyed vast marketing success by targeting the music industry. He pressed for musicians to wear his clothing at concerts, which in turn made fans want to buy the clothing line from association. BAPE In Popular Culture In today's culture, the clothing line has spread to multiple countries. Among the dominant countries are the United States and Japan. There are now multiple locations in each country where trendy individuals can purchase the product.

But most of the marketing for the clothing line has come from big-name artists such as Jermaine Dupri or Kanye West. Both hip hop artists are commonly seen featured with the clothing line in their music videos, which are viewed by millions worldwide. This has given the clothing line worldwide recognition. What BAPE Is Composed Of The thing that made BAPE so popular was the original design. Too often has society seen dull and boring designs shoveled out of generic clothing companies. Thanks to the simple creativity and the good marketing practices of Nigo, the BAPE line of clothing has achieved worldwide recognition.

Specifically, BAPE commonly uses "loud" designs in their apparel. It isn't uncommon to see contrasting colors, many shapes or images, and overall a busy looking design. This is a change from the norm, which is to have simple colors that blend moreso than contrast. But contrary to popular belief, BAPE does far more than just shirts. They also create designs in footwear, jackets, hoodies, and even hats. The hoodies and jackets are very famous, as they are the most commonly featured in music videos of hip hop artists and rappers.

Closing Arguements BAPE might not be the oldest clothing line in the market, but it certainly is showing to be a tough competitor to other clothing lines. The public reception has helped boost the company to success, and as more and more rappers and artists wear the line, the success is only expected to continue. It looks as if this is one trend that isn't dying out anytime soon.
